2025 Response to Supreme Court Decision:
Mahmoud v. Taylor - Parental opt-out from LGBTQ+ books


Bird and Bee Education is and has always been committed to teaching about gender and sexual diversity in a manner that is inclusive and honoring of students and families of all genders, sexualities, cultures, and religious backgrounds, as is the responsibility and mandate of every educator in publicly funded educational settings. 

The decree, given by one individual, whose academic and professional qualifications do not confer relevant expertise regarding the nature of gender, willfully denies the lived experie
New York State Education Department: 


Bird and Bee Education will continue to comply with California Laws and Educational Codes, which require medically accurate and comprehensive sexual health education that is: inclusive of all genders and sexualities; and prohibited from promoting or teaching religious doctrine.[2]
