What should we be looking for when choosing music and videos to share with children and teens? I like to look for songs that promote acceptance and respect for self and others, healthy body image, empowerment, and resilience. Videos should represent diverse body types, standards of beauty, ethnicities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. Here are links to some of my favorites, organized roughly in order of age appropriateness.
